Watch now: Sean Scully's artist talk at the Hungarian National Gallery
15 December 2020
On the occasion of his major solo exhibition 'Passenger' at the Hungarian National Gallery's Museum of Fine Arts, Sean Scully held an artist talk around the exhibition's opening in which he discusses a number of the works on view. 'Passenger' surveys all the major periods of Scully’s oeuvre from his early experiments in the 1960s, through the minimalism of the 1970s, and the compositions of the 1980s built from expressive bands and marked by plasticity, to his groups of works associated with window and wall motifs, all the way to his recent turn to figuration.
