Sean Scully solo exhibition opens at Skulpturenpark Waldfrieden
15 June 2020
Waldfrieden Sculpture Park and Tony Cragg present an exhibition by the celebrated abstract artist Sean Scully, featuring new works created especially for the site, in a presentation that speaks of the mutual admiration and long lasting friendship between both artists. An astonishing array of towering sculptures by Scully, best known for his bold paintings of expressive horizontal and vertical stripes, will punctuate the 30 acres of leafy forest that comprise the park. Meanwhile, an indoor exhibition space, located at the summit of the idyllic terrain, will showcase a composition of paintings and sculptures.
The exhibition is on view now and continues through 3 January, 2021. For more information visit Waldfrieden Sculpture Park
