Richard Deacon, Julian Opie and Christopher Le Brun in Art for Maggie's Charity Sale at Christies

Christie’s has partnered with Maggie’s to present a selection of artworks that have been generously donated by over 50 contemporary artists, designers and architects, including Richard Deacon, Christopher Le Brun and Julian Opie.

The online auction will take place on the Christie’s website from 15-23 July 2020 with all proceeds going to Maggie’s emergency fund.

Maggie’s is a UK-based charity providing free practical and emotional support to people with cancer and their family and friends in centres across the UK as well as by phone, email and online. Art and design have always been integral to Maggie’s. In each of their unique centres, artworks are chosen to help create a special environment for visitors, and in turn, hope to bring solace and hope to patients. This commitment to the therapeutic power of art extends to their programme, and Maggie's visitors take part in regular art therapy sessions.
