Raffle for Anish Kapoor etching to support Artists for Pitzhanger
1 November 2020
Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery presents the chance to win a limited edition etching by Anish Kapoor, donated in support of the Artists for Pitzhanger initiative. All of the proceeds from raffle tickets, priced at £25 each, will support the historic site’s reopening, and go towards future exhibition and education programmes.
Capturing the essence of the monumental sculptural works for which he is best known, ‘Untitled, 2015’ is a lyrical exploration of the spatial effects of diffused colour and tone. In characteristic deep hues of red and black, the print recalls major works such as ‘Marsyas’, a colossal organic form suspended in the space of Tate Modern’s Turbine Hall in 2002. Kapoor’s involvement in Artists for Pitzhanger marks a continuation of his relationship with the heritage site, following from his exhibition of recent mirror works that inaugurated the newly restored Manor and Gallery in Spring 2019.
The raffle will close at 11.59pm on 4 November 2020. Purchase a ticket and find out more here.
