Performance: War Primer 2

Adam Broomberg and Oliver Chanarin have choreographed a unique performance throughout the galleries of 'Conflict, Time, Photography'.

Using Bertolt Brecht and Hanns Eisler’s unfinished opera War Primer as raw material, the performance responds to specific photographic works in this landmark exhibition through procession, poetry and military drumming. Eighteen army cadets aged between 14 and 17 will participate in this one-off event.

Guests are invited to explore the exhibition from 18.30, with the performance commencing shortly after this.
