WITHIN A REALM OF RELATIVE FORMA PURSUIT OF A FORM
AN ESSENTIAL COMPRESSION OF A FORM
AN ESSENTIAL EXPANSION OF A FORM
A DEGRADATION OF A FORM
AN OBJECTIFICATION OF WHICHSOEVER FORM
ALL TOGETHER NOW
Sculpture in the City has returned to London’s Square Mile for its ninth edition, presenting 19 newly commissioned artworks by a group of world famous artists. Lawrence Weiner’s ‘ALL TOGETHER NOW’, first presented in a different configuration in 2005, is on view at the Leadenhall Building in Bishopsgate. Inspired by the language in notes and scribblings across the walls of public spaces in his hometown of the South Bronx, Weiner’s works take on a new form in each of their iterations, informed by the spaces they occupy. In this presentation, each word is contained within it's own rectangular frame of the building's glass facade.
All Sculpture in the City works are on view until April 2020. Find out more via the Sculpture in the City website.
