New exhibition by Julian Opie at Fosun Foundation, Shanghai

Fosun Foundation presents the first major solo exhibition in China by Julian Opie from 28 March until 10 June 2017.
The exhibition will be held at the new Fosun Foundation building, co-designed by Foster + Partners and Heatherwick Studio, located in the Bund Financial Center (BFC) in Shanghai. Spanning two floors of the new building, the presentation will focus on two aspects of Opie’s practice: his engagement with portraiture and his interest in the built environment and natural landscapes. Combining over 50 works in various mediums, the exhibition presents a broad overview of Opie's oeuvre and features many new works created specifically for the Foundation.
A catalogue with an introduction by Jenny Wang, President of Fosun Foundation, and text by Julian Opie will accompany the exhibition.
