‘On the Other Side’, a significant traveling exhibition featuring important sculptures by Richard Deacon from the past ten years, will go on display at the Langen Foundation in Neuss, Germany from 4 September 2015 until 5 March 2017. Following successful presentations at Kunstmuseum Winterthur, Switzerland and the Heydar Aliyev Centre in Baku, the exhibition showcases the artist’s long-standing interest in form and his use of diverse materials. At the Thomas Schütte Foundation, also in Neuss, floor-hugging sculptures by Deacon will be presented as part of his exhibition 'Under the Weather'. These flat, ceramic works bear mineral-rich glazes and evoke shifting topographies, constellations and biological formations. Curated by Dieter Schwarz, the exhibition runs from 4 September until the end of December.
