Lucy Raven releases 'Remix Ready Mix' LP with Dia

Remix Ready Mix by Lucy Raven and Deantoni Parks, Dia’s latest LP, is now available for purchase. The album reimagines the soundtrack to Raven’s film installation Ready Mix (2021), which was commissioned to inaugurate Dia Chelsea’s new galleries last year. Created in collaboration with the composer Deantoni Parks, Remix Ready Mix merges  field recordings from a concrete and gravel plant in central Idaho with nonsynchronous sound arrangements.

To celebrate this release, Deantoni Parks’s 2021 live performance in response to Ready Mix will be screened virtually for one week on the Dia website page starting Monday, November 14, and will remain available until Sunday, November 19.
